The GlowGetter Monthly Reset ✨

A simple ritual that keeps my midlife glow-up on track

One of the most powerful habits I’ve built in midlife isn’t a diet, planner, or productivity hack — it’s my Monthly GlowGetter Reset.

Once a month, I pause. I reflect. I realign.

This reset helps me stay intentional about my wellness, weight loss, money, mindset, confidence, and the woman I’m becoming — without overwhelm or perfection.

✨ In midlife, we don’t wait for things to change.
✨ We track it, reflect on it, and make it happen.

Here’s how the reset works.

1. Energy + Wellness

How did my energy feel most days?
Which habits supported my sleep, stress, or joy?
What’s one small upgrade for next month?

2. Weight Loss + Movement

How did my body feel in movement?
What progress did I notice (scale or non-scale)?
What will I continue or adjust next month?

3. Mindset + Self-Talk

What thoughts dominated this month?
Where did my confidence grow?
What belief do I want to strengthen next?

4. Productivity + Habits

What routines helped me feel on top of life?
What drained me?
What habit needs a simpler version?

5. Money + Financial Glow-Up

Did my spending match my priorities?
What money win did I have?
What leak can I fix next month?

6. Home + Organization

What spaces felt calm and efficient?
What needs a reset or simplification?

7. Relationships + Connection

Which relationships added joy or growth?
Where do I need better boundaries?
Who do I want to connect with next month?

8. Style + Beauty + Confidence

When did I show up as the woman I’m becoming?
What made me feel confident or radiant?
What can I elevate next month?

9. Personal Growth

What did I learn or practice this month?
What growth edge am I committing to next?

10. Wins + Celebrations

What wins am I proud of?
What brave thing did I do?
How will I celebrate progress?

Monthly Close-Out ✨

Finish with these two sentences:

This month, I became a woman who…​
​Next month, I’m stepping into the identity of a woman who…

That’s the real glow-up — identity shift.

Mid-Month GlowGetter Check-In

Halfway through the month, ask:
• How am I feeling physically?
• Am I honoring my health habits?
• What’s one win I’m proud of?
• What’s my ONE focus for the rest of the month?

Close with this mantra:

“I am in progress. I am showing up. I am becoming the woman I promised myself.”

Blueberry-Green Tea Smoothie

In a blender, puree 1/ cup frozen blueberries & strawberries, 1/ cup unsweetened green tea, 3/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt, and tablespoons ground flaxseed until smooth.

Feb. 8 — Eyebrow, Lash, or Facial Upgrade

How to do it

  • Book a brow shaping, lash lift, facial, or at-home treatment.
  • Or refresh your tools and products and do a mini spa night.

Why it matters after 40

  • Brows thin, lashes fade, skin slows down. Biology is rude.
  • A small upgrade makes your whole face look lifted and rested.
  • Looking put-together boosts confidence immediately.

Low effort. High return.

Feb. 9 — Debt Payoff Review

How to do it

  • Pull your balances.
  • Review progress.
  • Update your payoff plan or snowball list.

Why it matters after 40

  • Money stress ages you faster than sun damage.
  • Financial clarity builds emotional safety.
  • Freedom feels better than impulse purchases.

We like glowing skin and glowing credit scores.

​Feb. 10 — Protect One Boundary Today

How to do it

  • Say no to one thing that drains you.
  • Leave one situation early.
  • Decline one request without over-explaining.

Why it matters after 40

  • Your time is your most valuable asset.
  • Energy leaks sabotage every goal.
  • Boundaries are not selfish. They are strategic.

You are not available for nonsense anymore.

Feb. 11 — Be Fully Present in One Ordinary Moment

No fixing. No narrating. Just noticing.

How to do it

  • Choose one moment. Coffee. Shower. Walk.
  • Put your phone away.
  • Breathe and feel it.

Why it matters after 40

  • Presence rewires your nervous system.
  • Joy is hiding in the boring parts.
  • Awakening happens quietly.

Your life is happening now. Not later.

​Feb. 12 — Single-Leg Balance Work

Stability before speed.

How to do it

  • Stand on one leg while brushing teeth.
  • Add heel raises or light movement.
  • Try 30–60 seconds each side.

Why it matters after 40

  • Balance declines with age if ignored.
  • Strong stabilizers prevent injury.
  • Longevity starts with your feet.

Grace is built, not inherited.

​Feb. 13 — Update Your Relationship Goals

How to do it

  • Journal what you want in friendships, dating, partnership.
  • Release old patterns.
  • Define your new standard.

Why it matters after 40

  • You are no longer dating for potential.
  • You know yourself now.
  • Standards are clarity, not arrogance.

You’ve outgrown settling.

​Feb. 14 — Solo Date

How to do it

  • Take yourself to coffee, lunch, a bookstore, or a walk.
  • Dress cute.
  • Put your phone away.

Why it matters after 40

  • You teach people how to treat you.
  • Self-trust is magnetic.
  • Romance starts with self-respect.

You are the main character. Act like it.

These rituals are doing more than “self-care.”
They’re building confidence, discipline, and identity.

This is how women glow in midlife.
