Awaken & Bloom in Midlife Newsletter with Jax
October 2025
Hello,
So glad to reach out to y'all this month. Had a great September and October is looking bright too.
Started my new website creation with my deisgn team. Then once that is done I will rebrand this newsletter, my Facebook group, my podcast & social media to all match. Fingers crossed it is completed by Novemebr 1.
I started a wellness coaching certification as well as a nutrition coaching certification and I am learning all the things. Once these two are complete then I will start my personal training certification and I should be completed with all three by Jan 2026. Then I should be prepared enough to coach lovely ladies over 40 looking to glow up and improve the health, wellness, weight loss and mindset. In spring I will hopefully take a finance coaching certification with my Bachelors in Finance and with myself becoming debt free this will be a great opportunity to bring in money coaching in the Fall of 2026. So I would say things are looking up and are right on track with my business and coaching goals.
I don't really have any big plans this month. Just working my full time lending position, trying to grow online and reaching out to all of you. Weight loss is coming along. I have about still 80 lbs to go to reach my goal weight. Still not on any weight loss medications and trying to do it the old fashion way naturally with grit and grace.
I will go over my morning/evening routine in this newsletter as well as practices I am doing for weight loss. I will share items I have bought as GlowGetter Staple from Amazon. Two ways I am romanticizing my life this past week. My Life Binder Project and some more weight loss mindset concepts I am using to help me on my weight loss journey.
No blog posts will be shared. I have not posted any new ones due to the fact of creating a new website.
I'm so, so happy to visit you and your mailbox today. I appreciate you and thank you for subscribing.
Have an amazing October and please read below.
Love,
Jax

Romanticizing Your Life & Your Glow-Up Journey
- Writing daily affirmations on pretty stationery with a fountain pen invites me to slow down and savor the present moment. The ritual turns a simple mindset practice into an act of elegance and self-expression, helping me romanticize the ordinary. This small luxury reminds me that I’m worthy of beauty and intention in my daily life, while also reinforcing beliefs that fuel confidence and reinvention. It’s both self-care and artistry, wrapped into one mindful habit.
- Keep a crystal dish of fresh berries on your desk like a queen’s snack Elevates an ordinary snack into a treat that feels indulgent and royal. Every time you reach for berries, you’re reminded you deserve beauty and nourishment. Creates a visual cue of abundance—healthy food can be just as aesthetic as it is functional. Small touches of luxury make your glow-up journey fun, light, and delicious.

Weight Loss Mindset Practices I'm Using
1. Reframe Setbacks as Feedback, Not Failure
• Every slip-up is data—what worked, what didn’t, and what needs adjusting.
• Instead of guilt, ask: “What can I learn from this?”
• Progress isn’t linear—feedback loops keep you moving forward.
2. Name Your Cravings
• Call cravings what they are: your brain chasing a dopamine hit.
• Separating “you” from the craving reduces its power.
• Saying it out loud helps you pause instead of reacting.
3. Practice Urge Surfing
• Cravings rise, peak, and fade like waves—ride them out without acting.
• Remind yourself: urges are temporary, not emergencies.
• Use deep breathing, distraction, or movement while the wave passes.
